WiFi will keep you connected when near an access point and Nokia’s Bluetooth implementation is as usual, excellent. The PIM applications are strong and the office suite plus Acrobat Reader. WiFi has become so widespread that we take it for granted. Just like laptop users cannot imagine life without WiFi.

Users can either run on the external screen or second external display. Both screens support 16 million colors. Users can make conference calls, access their contacts database, mute and unmute calls, and access an application of choice through 'My Own' key with just one push of a button. Active standby, the capability to customize the phone display to show and provide quick access to user defined applications, together with one touch keys, simplifies connecting to business and personal applications and switching between tasks.

Email support includes push email and standard SMTP/POP3 protocols. The large screen is ideal for reading and writing emails, for browsing the web, viewing PDF documents or editing spreadsheets. And it even comes with a text to speech reader. Significantly, the Nokia E90 does include HSDPA support allowing for download speeds of up to 3.6Mbit/sec.

Switching between screens is almost instantaneous one second or so. The user interface is fully scalable and all applications and UI elements adjust themselves to different screen sizes and proportions fully automatic and almost imperceptibly. Switching between the screens is smooth and automatic as you open and close the phone. You can open the device to any viewing angle, up to a flat 180 degrees.

Voice dialing gives you only 1.5 seconds to make sure it heard and dialed the correct number. Voice quality was decent, and talk time battery life was excellent. The phone lasted a full 10 hours in lab tests. This phone is very pricey but well worth the money if you have it,
